Autism Services Eligibility: Is My Child Eligible?

Autism Services Eligibility

At BetterBridge Interventions, we provide Early Autism Care and Behavioral Therapy to help children with autism and related developmental conditions reach their full potential. If you’re wondering whether your child qualifies for our services, we’re here to guide you through the process.

Who Qualifies for Autism Services?

Your child may be eligible for autism therapy and developmental support if they meet the following criteria:

✔ Has a documented medical diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or a related developmental condition.
✔ Is under 21 years old at the time of enrollment.
✔ Has completed a Comprehensive Multi-Disciplinary Evaluation (CMDE) – an assessment that determines the need for autism-related interventions.
✔ Is enrolled in Medical Assistance (MA), TEFRA, or MinnesotaCare, which cover early autism care and behavioral therapy services.

What If My Child Doesn’t Have a Diagnosis Yet?

If your child has developmental delays, communication challenges, or behavioral differences, but hasn’t received a formal diagnosis, we can help. Our team can guide you through the evaluation and diagnostic process, ensuring your child gets the support they need as soon as possible.

Why Early Autism Care Matters

Early intervention plays a crucial role in a child’s development. Research shows that children who receive early autism care and behavioral therapy experience significant improvements in:

✔ Communication and language development
✔ Social skills and interactions
✔ Daily living and independence
✔ Emotional regulation and behavior management

By starting therapy early, we help children build the skills and confidence they need to thrive in everyday life.
